How To DJ Like a Pro and Work Your Crowd

To the outsider to learn how DJ can be quite simple. Learn to be a professional DJ is as easy to say than done when most professionals to spend time, its phono and try to hit to create a huge amount as before, they're perfect.

Here are some tips to learn as a professional DJ and drive the audience wild.

1. Their equipment DJ

This is the most important decision of your DJCareer. What you need to make music that make more, and where do you get? Deciding whether to go with traditional equipment such as turntables, mixer and vinyl records, or if you are with the modern approach that is all going to digital, which requires only a murderess rhythm you want to make the software and a laptop. The latter is certainly more convenient. However, without proper equipment and the confidence to use it all, you are never able to be the last DJ and beginyour own original music. So, either get prepared to spend some serious money; because turntables, mixers and vinyls will cost a small fortune, or get ready to grab an affordable killer beat making software for your laptop devise.

2. Your vision as a DJ

What do you want to create? To make your own killer beats is one thing and of course its completely ok to experiment and play with different genres while learning how to DJ. It's perfectly normal to play around and get a feel for what you like and don't but in the end, if you want to start marketing yourself as a real DJ, you need to know what the essence of your music is and what category it falls into. Would your music be described more as drum n base or house music? Or maybe hip hop. Or progressive trance? These are definitely things you want to clarify before trying to kick start your DJ career

3. Your DJ Image

This will be heavily based on your vision as the two work together. For example, I once had a buddy who was a successful DJ for years. His DJ stage name was 'DJ Spider' or something to that effect and he loved spinning progressive house music. What made his shows particularly memorable was that throughout his set he would gradually peel back a layer of his clothing exposing pieces of a costume. The crowd would roar as the beats pounded and each time you would look up there was something different about the DJ. By the end of his set he would be busting out his beats in a full on spiderman costume fully equipped with a hood and gloves! Can you imagine? Well, needless to say the crowd went absolutely bonkers!
