DJ Green Lantern Mixtapes Cause Some Controversy

There are many Agostino Hip-hop fans have probably never heard of James D ', but almost all are familiar with him, under the pseudonym DJ Green Lantern.Through the release of several DJ Green Lantern mix tape he did for himself same name in the world of rap music. Some groups have a lot of attention to the controversy that has swirled.

In 2002 DJ Green Lantern got his big break when he was elected as the new Eminemofficial DJ for his label, Shady Records. He was hired to replace DJ Head, who left the label for reasons that are unknown. After three years and several hot mixtapes, he left the label as well because he had a dispute with 50 Cent, who was recording with Shady Records.

The first DJ Green Lantern mixtapes that started getting attention were also the first official rap mixtapes released by Shady Records. They were known as the Invasion series and included three different new mixtapes. The hip hop songs on the tapes included a number of diss tracks that fueled the rivalry between Eminem and other artists such as Benzino and Ja Rule.

Many people do not equate hip hop music with major political statements. However, Green got political attention for working on the Immortal Technique track entitled Bin Laden. The song openly blamed the Bush administration as well as the Reagan Doctrine for the September 11th attacks.

DJ Green Lantern Mixtapes have helped the artist make a name for himself through his work, and the controversy with which he was involved. While working with Shady Records, has helped to continue a battle between Eminem and other artists, at the end to leave the label due to a dispute. He also became famous for the production of bold political statements in his songs.
