Learn To DJ Online - Learning from Video DJ Classes and Courses

When I started DJing in Phoenix a few years ago I was for the difference between what is easy and it seems difficult to be surprised. Although I trained by a professional with more than 15 years of experience, it was so difficult to make the sound correctly.

With the beat-matching, time, ideas, and all the advanced techniques, it feels like you could just drown in confusion, before starting for real. Now it does not take much skill to play DJsome shots up, while fading from one to another. Yup, we can all play a dance school after a couple of nights with our friends decks'.

But for me it's so easy to see what all the DJ's that really stand up before a large audience of music we know well and blow away. To protect our competitors (who knows what sounds good to DJ) joined a feeling that can not be beat. Also, if you paid for them.

To take from gamblingSchool dances and clubs to do is get your name, you must practice. Like most things is DJing is good practice to learn and be sensitive to project the sound you want. When I started learning, I am so frustrated DJ courses at a speed that was to improve the video before I did a little '. The video courses made the difference.

so many DJs now move the case to the CD, and iPod software, the DJ, you can turn some vinyl andis in greater demand than before. You can not just be vinyl or duplicate the rich or the Sound Effects, DJ software, or can be made in vinyl with a CD mixer.

Well, simply put, a DJ must go to:

1. Sound recordings in a DJs preferred medium (vinyl, CD or iPod)

2. Some audio devices, IE decks, CD players, iPods, or whatever you have. You need at least 2, so you can switch back and forth.

3. A sound systemGain or transfer of recordings (eg portable audio system, PA system) or a radio.

4. A mixer, a two-channel mixer with crossfader electronic use to face the best from one song to another.

5. A microphone, so the DJ can introduce songs and speak to the public, and

6. Headphones or monitor speakers used to listen to a recording, while the other is without the sound output toAudience.

But if you have all six of these concepts in place, you must learn to properly and with his own style. It 's like making love, just because you have the right equipment, does not mean that you're learning.

When I first started DJing in Phoenix a few years ago, I was amazed by the difference between how easy it looks and hard it can be. Although I was being trained by a pro with more than 15 years of experience, it was so difficult to get the sound right.

With beat matching, tempo, cues, and all of the more advanced techniques, it feels like you could just drown in confusion before you really start to catch on. Now it doesn't take a lot of DJ skills to get out there and play a few top hits while fading from one to the next. Yup- we can all play a middle school dance after a few nights with our friends' decks.

But to me, it's so easy to see that what all of us DJ's really want is to get up in front of a large audience that knows good music and blow them away. To be respected in front of our peers (who know what good DJing sounds like) is a feeling that can't be beat. Except- when you get paid for it to.

In order to take yourself from playing school dances to doing clubs and getting your name out there, you need to practice. Like most things, DJing is going to take practice to get good and to become sensitive to the sound you are trying to exude. When I started learning, I got so frustrated at the speed I was improving before I got some video DJ courses. The video courses made all the difference.

With so many DJ's today moving to CD's, iPods, and software, the DJ that can get out and spin some vinyl is in higher demand than ever. You just cannot be the rich sound or vinyl or duplicate the effects that can be done on vinyl with a CD mixer or DJ Software.

Now, put simply, to be a DJ you are going to need:

1. Sound recordings in a DJ's preferred medium (vinyl, cd, or ipod)

2. A couple of sound devices, IE decks, cd players, ipods, or what have you. You need at least 2 so you can alternate back and forth.

3. A sound system for amplification or broadcasting of the recordings (e.g. portable audio system, PA system) or a radio broadcasting system.

4. A DJ mixer, an electronic two-channel mixer with a crossfader used to smoothly go from one song to another.

5. A microphone, so that the DJ can introduce songs and speak to the audience, and

6. headphones or a monitor speaker, which is used to listen to one recording while the other is playing, without outputting the sound to the audience.

But once you've got all six of those items in place, you have to learn how to use them correctly and with your own style. It's like making love: just because you have the right equipment doesn't mean you're done learning.

DJ Beginner - 3 Tips to the Top

I remember eight years ago when I first decided to get fully involved in DJing. There were a

number of things that were going through my head at the time. A few concerns and thoughts

were things like... "How do I raise cash for this hobby?", "How am I going to learn how to

use the equipment?", "How will I promote myself as a DJ?" etc etc... In this article I want

to talk about 3 tips for the DJ beginner and what they need to know to succeed as a DJ.

So lets talk about the these tips and what they can do for you to make it to the top.

Tip 1. Have a broad knowledge of music!

This is especially true if you are looking to get work outside of a particular niche and go

all out universal. By going Universal, you have more opportunities for work in different

areas whether its DJing at weddings, 21st birthday parties, Product launch events or

whatever! I'm not saying you have to pick up on this point, its just good to have a broad

knowledge of music.

Tip 2. Identify an image for yourself

What I mean by this is create a brand for yourself. Create an image that reflects your music.

The more you can do this the more sell able you make yourself and the more professional you

will present yourself in front of music promoters, record labels etc. You wont be consider as

the average Joe DJ that comes in and plays music. Branding yourself with create buzz and

professionalism for you.

Tip 3. Don't stay out to late.

It is very common these days for DJ's in certain niches of music to stay out late after they have done their job in the club. This is especially true for DJ's who play in the dance music genre. It is all too easy for a DJ to find themselves approached by someone inviting them back to an after party. If you do this you will end up burning yourself out very quickly and this will have a damaging effect on you. So its advised to take this tip seriously if you are a beginner DJ. Believe me, experience has taught me so!

These are just a few tips I wanted to share with you if you are a beginner DJ. I hope you take these into account.
